Smooth Away the Years, Reveal Your Radiance

A neuromodulator is a type of injectable treatment used in aesthetic procedures to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. These treatments work by temporarily blocking the signals from the nerves to the muscles, preventing muscle contractions that cause wrinkles from forming.

The most well-known cosmetic neuromodulators are:

  1. Botox
  2. Dysport
  3. Jeuveau
  4. Xeomin

These neuromodulators are primarily used to treat dynamic wrinkles, which are wrinkles that form due to repeated facial expressions (like smiling, squinting, or frowning). By relaxing the muscles that cause these wrinkles, neuromodulators can smooth the skin and give the face a more youthful, refreshed appearance. The effects typically last for 3 to 4 months, after which the treatment can be repeated.
